Upcoming Children’s Programs

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

On Tuesday evening, August 14 from 6:30 – 7:00, children ages 2 to 8 are invited to bring their stuffed animal to hear bedtime stories at the Willmar Public Library. It is highly recommended that they bring their second favorite stuffed animal. The stuffed animal will be spending the night at the library for a sleepover. They will have the entire library to themselves. The library staff will leave tons of fun and exciting books for them to read and stacks of movies for them to watch. They will have the public computers to use so they can play games. Our camera will capture what they do after hours! Children may pick up the stuffed animals anytime after August 16 to see what kind of fun and mischief their stuffed animal did while the library was closed. Children may wear their pajamas to hear stories, fingerplays, and music. Children are encouraged to come early before the program starts, to register their stuff animal. For more information or questions, contact the Children’s Department at (320)235-3162.
